The Insurance Open Joint-Stock Company Russian Insurance Centre was founded in 1992. On July 23 the company was registered with the Moscow Registration Chamber.
Now the company’s clients comprise over 1600 federal organizations and defense industry companies such as the Federal State Unitary Enterprise Rosoboronexport, the Space Forces, the Strategic Rocket Forces, Khrunichev State Science and Production Space Centre, the Open-Joint Stock Company Science and Production Association Academician V. P. Glushko Energomash, the Open-Joint Stock Company Aviation Holding Company Sukhoi, the Open-Joint Stock Company Yakovlev Experimental Design Bureau, the Federal State Unitary Enterprise Instrument Engineering Bureau, the Federal State Unitary Enterprise Mechanical Engineering Bureau, the Open-Joint Stock Company V.A. Dyagterev Plant, the Federal State Unitary Enterprise Admiralty Shipyards, the Federal State Unitary Enterprise Mechanical Engineering Enterprise Zvezdochka and others.
The Russian Insurance Centre is also active in the corporate insurance market in the civil sector of the economy providing property and liability insurance for enterprises and organizations as well as personal insurance for their employees.
The licenses of the Federal Service for Insurance Supervision –

Ï ¹0159 77 and the licenses of the Federal Security Service and Foreign Intelligence Service of Russia allow the Russian Insurance Centre to administer over 70 types of insurance activities including those that involve information classified as state secrets.

As of the end of 2011 the Russian Insurance Centre is in the top 20 Russian insurance companies for corporate insurance.
In September of 2008 Fitch Ratings assigned the Russian Insurance Centre a
